AWHT COLOUR CREATIONS SHOWCASE - WEEK 17: GARDEN GREEN

This week our Colour Creations Showcase, co-ordinated by Catherine Proctor, is focussing on Garden Green.  Cathy has a comprehensive list on her blog of everyone participating in this week's share, so please check it out, and visit all of our blogs!  We hope to inspire you to create with all of Stampin' Up!'s colours, and as such we're working our way through the colour offerings in alphabetical order throughout the year.

I have pulled out the Toile Tidings Designer Series Paper that carried over from last Christmas, as it is a bit of a challenge for me to use ... and I'm going through a phase of challenging myself creatively.  The Toile Tidings papers contain patterns in Garden Green, Real Red and Very Vanilla.  I have paired one of the Garden Green animal-patterned papers with Rustic Retreat, to make a somewhat masculine, "woodsy", Christmas card.

After stamping the log cabin image on Very Vanilla card, using Early Espresso ink, I coloured it with Crumb Cake and Garden Green Stampin' Write markers.  I then ran the strip of Very Vanilla card through one of the Wrapped in Texture Embossing Folders.  I love the extra texture it adds to the cabin, and its roof and stone chimney:

I've listed below the products used to make this card.  They are available for purchase from my online store, for Australian residents.  If you would like to shop with me for your papercraft supplies, you can get to my store by clicking on any of the thumbnail images below.

Make sure you go to Cathy's blog to see the list of everyone taking part in this week's share.  We hope you enjoy our creations.

I made a second card with the Toile Tidings papers; I'll be sharing that on my blog tomorrow.
