JAI #160 : STAMPIN' UP!'S SCENTSATIONAL SEASON

This week at Just Add Ink, we have a fabulous image provided by Trish, to inspire a card/other papercraft creation.

Be still, my (neutrals-loving!) beating heart!!  This photo collage evokes thoughts of snuggly textured blankets, hot chocolate, and gorgeous earthy colours.  To that end, this is what I came up with:

Stamps: Scentsational Season, Petite Pairs
Card: Crumb Cake, Naturals Ivory, Early Espresso, Very Vanilla
DSP: Soft Suede and Crumb Cake Patterns Designer Series Papers
Ink: Crumb Cake and Early Espresso stampin' pads
Other: Top Note Bigz die, Square Lattice embossing folder, Holiday Collection framelits, Natural Trim ribbon, Naturals Designer Buttons, Neutrals brad, Linen Thread, 1" Square punch, Postage Stamp punch, sponge dauber, stampin' dimensionals, glue dots

Be sure to check out the rest of the Design Team's creations ... everyone has interpreted this challenge differently, and there are some fabulous ideas from the team.  We hope you'll play along with us!

STAMPIN' UP!'S HOLIDAY CATALOGUE : BLOG HOP

Today I'm taking part in a mini (well, really tiny) blog hop with a few friends who are also Stampin' Up! demonstrators.  A couple of ladies have had to pull out, leaving us with only four participants!  We have all made something using products from the Holiday Catalogue, that is current until the end of January 2013.  We'd love you to visit all our blogs, and leave some 'comment love' so we know you've been!

You may have come here from Nikki Sadler's blog ... but if not, no problems.  At the end of each team member's blog post, we have linked to the next person in the loop.  There are only 4 of us all up, so it's pretty hard to lose your way!

I have made a couple of Christmas cards to share with you.  I've used LOADS of new products.

Here's the first card:

STAMPIN' UP!'S SCENTSATIONAL SEASON

This month heralds the arrival of TWO new Stampin' Up! catalogues, so is a super-exciting time for those of us addicted to these wonderful products!  In addition to the new Annual Catalogue (chock full of new products, and many at lower prices than last year!), we have a beautiful new Holiday Catalogue to drool over.  Stampin' Up! have outdone themselves with the variety and selection of new products ..... I want them all!  You can view both catalogues online, by clicking on the icons in my blog side bar.

I've been having a play with the cute stamp set called Scentsational Season, and co-ordinating Holiday Collection Framelits dies.  (These products are available until the end of January.) LOVING all the new Framelits that Stampin' Up! have introduced, to make cutting out images super-easy.

I have seen many great ideas around blogland, for using this bundle of products, and have incorporated a few on my card.  How delicious is the background paper I've used?  It's from the great new Festival of Prints paper stack - decidedly festive, but not limited to Christmas.  I can see it being one of my go-to paper packs this coming year.

Card: Crumb Cake, Very Vanilla, Gumball Green
DSP: Festival of Prints Designer Series Paper stack
Ink: Versamark inkpad, Gumball Green, Early Espresso and Crumb Cake stampin' pads
