STAMPIN' UP! FINE ART FLORAL FUSSY-CUT BIRTHDAY CARD

To round out my blog posting for 2020 (a year in which I shared more cards than ever before), I am sharing with you a sneak peek of some beautiful products from the January - July Mini catalogue, that will go live on 5th January.

The focal floral image on my card has been fussy-cut from a piece of Fine Art Floral Designer Series Paper.  I adhered the blooms, and a thin horizontal strip of Petal Pink paper from the same pack, to a piece of Flirty Flamingo card.  I then used the Subtle 3D embossing folder to give the whole piece a linen look.

Here's a closer view of all that lovely painty and linen texture:

The sentiment, from the new Art Gallery stamp set, was stamped in Poppy Parade ink on a piece of Whisper White card.  I used one of the sentiment label dies from the co-ordinating Floral Gallery dies to cut it to size.  The pearl embellishments on my card have been custom-coloured, using my Dark Flirty Flamingo Stampin' Blends marker.

Listed below are all the current products I used to make this card.  I can't yet link to the Art Gallery bundle, or beautiful Fine Art Floral Designer Series Paper ... but, happily, you have to wait only until the 5th of January to order that.  If you live in Australia, and would like to shop with me for your Stampin' Up! supplies, you can get to my online store by clicking on any of the thumbnail images below.

STAMPIN' UP! TAILORED TAG MASCULINE BIRTHDAY CARD

The beautiful Gilded Autumn Designer Series Paper retires when our current Mini Catalogue finishes on 4th January.  I have used so little of this paper (I've been hoarding it!), so now's a good time to put it to use.  A few of the patterns in the pack are shown off nicely on my card, using the Tailored Tag punch.  This is a classic, simple, design that makes it easy to create masculine cards for your stash.

Aren't the patterns and colours lovely?  I punched several pieces of paper with the Tailored Tag punch, and adhered them to a panel of Early Espresso card.  My background is a piece of Crumb Cake card that has been embossed using the Tasteful Textures 3D embossing folder.  The edges of that panel have been sponged with Crumb Cake ink.

The sentiment is from one of my new favourite sets, called You Are Amazing (it is available to purchase from 5th January).  I stamped it in Cajun Craze ink on a scrap of Very Vanilla card, and cropped it using a Tasteful Labels die.  The only embellishments I added to the card are a few pearls, coloured using my Dark Soft Suede Stampin' Blends marker.  They look a little gold in my photo, but in real life look a bit darker.

I can't yet link to the You Are Amazing stamp set in my online store, but all other products used to make this card are listed below.  If you live in Australia, and would like to shop with me for your Stampin' Up! supplies, you can get to my online store by clicking on any of the thumbnail images below.

STAMPIN' UP! PIERCED BLOOMS SNEAK PEEK

I love any dies that have stitched or pierced detail, and there are some beauties coming up in the January - June Mini Catalogue, on 5th January.

Today's card features the gorgeous Pierced Blooms Dies.  These dies do co-ordinate with a stamp set, but I have used them without the matching stamps.  Don't you think the flowers and leaves are just delightful?

I started off white-embossing a wreath, using one of the stamps from the Ornamental Envelopes stamp set, on a piece of woodgrain paper from the In Good Taste DSP pack.  A stitched circle die, from the Stitched Shapes Dies, was used to cut around the wreath.  I then arranged the sweet flowers, cut from Blushing Bride card (with Whisper White centres, on the two larger blooms), and the leaves cut from Crumb Cake card, around the wreath.

The sentiment, from the You Are Amazing stamp set (also coming on 5th January), was stamped in Early Espresso ink on a piece of Blushing Bride patterned paper, from the Subtles 6"x6" DSP pack.  I adhered the Blushing Bride paper to a larger piece of In Good Taste paper, and matted them onto a panel of Crumb Cake card.  I ran this piece through my Stampin' Cut & Emboss machine, using the Tasteful Textile 3D embossing folder.  The tiny white heart embellishments are Resin Hearts embellishments, coming out in the new Mini Catalogue.  The beautiful baker's twine is also new, and is part of the Snail Mail Twine Combo pack (being released 5th January).

After embossing the panel, I glued the floral wreath piece on the front.

Here's another look at the sweet Pierced Blooms:
