STAMPIN' UP! FINE ART FLORAL "GET WELL SOON" CARD

Today I'm sharing the second card in my series of Fine Art Floral cards, made with Golden Garden acetate overlays.  There are so many colours in the patterned paper, that lots of different looks/focusses can be achieved.  Today's card is about the yellows - So Saffron and Bumblebee.

The acetate, with gold flower and leaf outlines, is adhered with Stampin' Seal+, dotted on some of the printed flowers and leaves on the DSP.  I have matted the floral panel on a piece of So Saffron card.

Using one of the other pieces of paper from the Fine Art Floral DSP pack, I die cut a Stitched So Sweetly scalloped rectangle.  Using So Saffron ink, I stamped a rose from Healing Hugs onto the patterned paper.  I then stamped the sentiment, in Tuxedo Black Memento ink, and sponged the edges of the panel with So Saffron ink.  A few Elegant Faceted Gems were added to the flower centre, and a Bumblebee Gingham Ribbon bow adds a little more yellow punch.

I must admit to having been a little hesitant to use this acetate in my card making, but it has proven to be easy to adhere, and provides rather lovely detail.

Listed below are all the Stampin' Up! products I used to make this card.  If you live in Australia, and would like to shop with me for your Stampin' Up! supplies, you can get to my online store by clicking on any of the thumbnail images below.

Tomorrow I'll have another subtle card to share with you, using these papers and acetate, and a few simple adornments.

STAMPIN' UP! TRUE LOVE GET WELL CARD IN MELON MAMBO

My share today is the second card I made from some True Love DSP that I coloured using Watercolor Pencils and a Blender Pen.  The flowers were coloured in Melon Mambo, with Rich Razzleberry shading, and the leaves in Old Olive.

I stamped the sentiment, from the Healing Hugs stamp set, in Rich Razzleberry ink on Whisper White card.  A Tasteful Labels die was used to cut the beautiful shape with an embossed border.  The three gems underneath the sentiment are Elegant Faceted Gems, that were Petal Pink, that I coloured using my Dark Rich Razzleberry Stampin' Blends marker.  The Petal Pink gems are a little cloudy, which altered the final colour, but I think they still complement the card colours well.  A bow made from Whisper White Polka Dot tulle ribbon finishes off my card:

STAMPIN' UP! OH SO OMBRE ROCOCO ROSE "GET WELL" CARD

Today's card is the second in my series of cards using Oh So Ombre Designer Series Paper, that is free with a $90 order until 28th February.  I've paired it with a die-cut piece of True Love Designer Series Paper, that is a lot of fun to colour in.

Isn't that ombre paper just gorgeous?  I don't often use Rococo Rose in my creating, but love how this looks.  On the sentiment label, I repeatedly (and a little randomly) stamped the cross image from Healing Hugs in Rococo Rose, stamped off twice onto scrap paper before making each impression on Whisper White card.  The sentiment was stamped over the top in Memento Tuxedo Black ink, and I used a Stitched So Sweetly die to cut it out.

Listed below are all the products I used to make this card.  If you live in Australia, and would like to shop with me for your Stampin' Up! supplies, you can get to my online store by clicking on any of the thumbnail images below.

Tomorrow I will be sharing a card made with the Bermuda Bay Oh So Ombre papers, and some flowers fussy cut from True Love Designer Series Paper.
