STAMPIN' UP! BEST ROUTE MASCULINE BIRTHDAY CARD

Have you seen that Stampin' Up! has an amazing Designer Series Paper promotion this month?  Buy three packs of select papers, and receive another pack for free!  I took advantage of the promotion, to add to my stash some of the beautiful papers on offer in our new Annual Catalogue.

The Best Route paper pack is an awesome option for masculine cards.  I've used it on a card for my nephew's birthday, and embellished with a few Best Route enamel shapes.

I've used four horizontal strips of Best Route DSP across the main panel of the card, so you can see the variety of patterns.  The numbers were cut (using the now-retired Large Numbers framelits) from another sheet of DSP, and adhered to Gray Granite card to reduce their flimsiness.

Listed below are all the current Stampin' Up! products used on this card.  If you click on any of the thumbnail images below, you will be taken direct to my online store.  You'll be able to see in my store, which papers are on offer in the "Buy 3, get one free" promotion.  It runs until 31st July.

Thanks for visiting my blog today.  It felt good to make a masculine card, after all the pretty, flowery, cards I have been making lately!

STAMPIN' UP! BY THE SHORE CARD 2

My share today is another masculine card, using By the Shore Designer Series Paper.  I didn't want to get to the end of this month, and have the paper retire, without making an effort to use it!  I'm rather in the habit of buying LOTS of Stampin' Up! stuff, because I love to have it ... but am guilty of not using it as I should.

This card includes some circular elements, that made me think of a porthole ... I hope you can see where I was going with that!

Again, I've decorated the inside of the card with a strip of Designer Series Paper:

Thanks for visiting my blog today, and I hope you'll come back soon, to see what I've made with some other Designer Series Papers that have also, to date, been neglected!

STAMPIN' UP! BY THE SHORE CARD 1

We're into the last month of our current Stampin' Up! catalogue, so I have chosen to show some love to some Designer Series Paper collections that I have barely used.

Today and tomorrow I have a couple of cards to share with you, that were made with the By The Shore papers.  I'm not much for fish and underwater scenes, so found this paper a little challenging to work with.  However, I do like stripes, and balloons, for masculine cards, so that's my focus in today's share.  Here's what I came up with, along with the new Happy Birthday thinlits die that will be available from 1st June:

I included a strip of the striped paper inside the card, to finish it off:

Listed below are the current Stampin' Up! products I used to make this card.  If you would like to buy them for yourself, just click on one of the thumbnail images, to be taken direct to my online store (for Australian shoppers only).

Be sure to come visit again tomorrow, to see my second card using this Designer Series Paper!
