STAMPIN' UP! CUTEST ONESIE BABY CARD #2 IN BOHO BLUE

After creating a baby card for this week's Colour Creations blog hop, I was inspired to make another one with the extra onesies I'd stamped and die-cut.  Here's my second Cutest Onesie creation, in Boho Blue, Misty Moonlight and Basic White.

The Designer Series Paper border at the bottom of the card front was cut using a Bright Skies Die.  I haven't photographed this card well, but the art piece is popped up from the card base, using Stampin' Dimensionals.

On a thin strip of Boho Blue card, I white heat-embossed the sentiment.  I stamped some little hearts in Boho Blue ink, and added dots using a white paint marker (not Stampin' Up!).

The Misty Moonlight panel behind the onesies was embossed with the Dashing Designs 3D embossing folder.

Here's a closer look at one of the baby suits.  I stamped the onesies in Misty Moonlight ink, on Boho Blue Designer Series Paper from the 2023-2025 In Color 6"x6" DSP pack.  After adding the little stamped button detail, I covered the stamped buttons with Iridescent Pearls that I'd coloured using my Dark Boho Blue Stampin' Blends marker.  The tiny hangers were cut from Basic White card.  I adhered two hangers together, for each outfit, to give them a bit more stability for hanging over the Jute Trim.  The Boho Blue Jute Trim was secured behind the Misty Moonlight panel, and I added a knot either side of the card front.

I used Glue Dots to secure the hangers to the embossed card, and Liquid Glue to anchor the onesies.

The card base is Boho Blue, so I added a Basic White panel to the inside, to make it easier to write a message.  Another stamped and die-cut onesie decorates the inside.

STAMPIN' UP! CUTEST ONESIE BABY CARD IN BOHO BLUE

Our Colour Creations blog hop this week is all about Boho Blue, one of Stampin' Up!'s In Colors for 2023-2025.

I decided it's a lovely blue for a baby card, so I made this card using the Cutest Onesie bundle:

I stamped the onesies on Boho Blue Designer Series Paper (from the 2023-2025 In Color 6"x6" DSP pack), using Boho Blue ink.  After cutting them out with the co-ordinating die, I sponged Boho Blue ink around the edges.

The large cloud was die-cut from Basic White Thick card, using a Bright Skies Die.  Embossing it with the Cane Weave 3D embossing folder made it look a bit more baby blanket-ish, don't you think?

I stamped the sentiment in Misty Moonlight ink on Basic White card, then cut it out using a Happy Little Things Die.  After unravelling a single strand of Boho Blue jute trim, I created a little bow that I adhered with glue dots.  I rather like the messy, fibrous, look of it.

I cut a Thick Basic White layer, slightly smaller than the card base, to create my background.  Using a Blending Brush, I added Boho Blue ink.  I then stamped some stars and hearts, from the Cutest Onesie stamp set, using Boho Blue ink.  A couple of clouds were cut from the same DSP as I used for the onesies, using a smaller cloud die from the Bright Skies Die set.  Boho Blue ink was sponged around the edges of the clouds before I tucked them behind the large white cloud.

The tiny silver hearts were created with Silver Adhesive-Backed Glimmer Paper, cut using a Forever Forest Die.  I also cut a thin sliver of the glimmer paper to add to the right-hand side of my card.  Since photographing it, I've made sure the silver strip is firmly stuck down, so there's no longer the gap you can see in this photo!

On a scrap of Basic white card, I stamped the sentiment for the inside of the card, using two stamps from Cutest Onesie.  The words were stamped in Misty Moonlight ink, and I used a Labeled With Love Die to cut them out.  After stamping some scribbly clouds in Boho Blue ink, I sponged the edges of the label with Boho Blue ink.  A couple of silver glimmery stars were added, to tie in with the design on the front of the card.
