STAMPIN' UP! ARTISTRY BLOOMS PAINTED POPPIES THANK YOU CARD #1

Artistry Blooms Designer Series Paper is seriously beautiful ... and is on special until the end of October.

I have created a couple of cards that show off the beautiful ombre sheets of paper in this pack.  By white-embossing outline images (from the Painted Poppies stamp set) directly on the paper, the need to colour the flowers is eliminated.  I have white-embossed flowers and leaves on two of the different sheets of paper, so you can see the lovely colour variations within.

The sentiment on this card is from the Massive Thanks stamp set, and it is stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black ink on a swirly stitched circle, from the Painted Poppies bundle.  The Basic Black delicate border is also from the dies in this bundle.

I laid a strip of the blue paper across a background panel of pinks/purple.  The poppies were cut from another piece of the pink/purple paper, and the leaves from a sheet of gradating greens.

STAMPIN' UP! FOREVER FERN THANK YOU CARD IN BERMUDA BAY, BLACK & WHITE

Today's card is my favourite, of the cards I have made so far with the Forever Fern bundle.  I like the striking colour combination of Bermuda Bay, Basic Black, Whisper White and a touch of Silver Foil.

The gorgeous sentiment is from the Massive Thanks stamp set, and it is stamped in Memento Black ink.

STAMPIN' UP! FOREVER FERN THANK YOU CARD IN PEACOCK AND PEAR

I have had my first play with the Forever Fern bundle (stunning!), and Massive Thanks, which I think will be my favourite set of "thank you" stamps in the Stampin' Up! catalogue.

On my Pretty Peacock card base, I repeatedly stamped what I call the berries from Forever Fern, using Pretty Peacock ink.  I then used the same stamp on Whisper White card, inking it up in Pear Pizzazz ink, and adding Pretty Peacock ink to the edges, with a sponge dauber.  The paper, of course (as Stampin' Up! does so well) co-ordinates beautifully with the stamped images.
