STAMPIN' UP! WINTER MEADOW CHRISTMAS CARD FEATURING MISTY MOONLIGHT

Since my focus was on Misty Moonlight for the last Colour Creations blog hop of the year last night, I made a Christmas card featuring this beautiful blue, and the other colours in the gorgeous Winter Meadow Designer Series Paper.

I started off by layering the leaf and berry patterned paper on a mat of Misty Moonlight card.  Across the middle of the patterned paper, I added a strip of another paper from the Winter Meadow DSP pack.

After colouring some Silver & White Sheer Ribbon with the Dark Misty Moonlight Stampin' Blends marker, I laid one strip of the ribbon across the card and used the second strip to create the bow (which I added with Glue Dots).

The sentiment, from the Wishes All Around stamp set, was stamped in Misty Moonlight ink on a piece of DSP from which I cut the main card front.  Hopefully you can see the slightly mottled/textured look in the close-up below.  I cropped the sentiment with a Stylish Shapes Die, and matted it on a Deckled Circle cut from another piece of Winter Meadow DSP.

Before gluing down the sentiment, I arranged some foliage die-cut from Moody Mauve cardstock, using a Gorgeously Made Die.

I have added some Misty Moonlight Tinsel Gems to some of the berries on the patterned paper, and a few Moody Mauve In Color Dots around the card front.

STAMPIN' UP! LET'S GO FISHING MASCULINE BIRTHDAY CARD IN MISTY MOONLIGHT

The last Colour Creations blog hop for 2023 has us all creating with Misty Moonlight, one of my favourite blues in Stampin' Up!'s range.  After a little break, we will be back on 3rd January, to continue working our way through Stampin' Up!'s colours, alphabetically.  (Mossy Meadow will be next.)

My card features four of the papers from the Let's Go Fishing Designer Series Paper pack.  I have used this colour combination:

Tonight's card includes a couple of sneak peeks, of new products that will be coming out on 4th January.  I have used the Mini Alphabet Dies, and Notes of Nature stamp set, to create the sentiment.

Here's a closer look at the sentiment.  Before die-cutting the "HOORAY!", I placed Adhesive Sheet on the back of Misty Moonlight card.  When die-cut, the letters become stickers, making it super-easy to adhere them to your card, without mess.

I white heat-embossed the second part of the sentiment, on Misty Moonlight card.  I used a Christmas Classics Die to cut out the label, and added Misty Moonlight Tinsel Gems and In Color Dots in Wild Wheat and Pebbled Path.

I sponged Misty Moonlight ink around the edges of the Misty Moonlight papers, and Wild Wheat around the edges of the Wild Wheat paper and card, before adhering all the layers to a Thick Very Vanilla card base.

Around the card front, I wrapped a length of Misty Moonlight Inner Braid Ribbon (using the reverse side, so the white braiding is not obvious).  I then knotted some Pebbled Path Textured Ribbon around it, and secured both pieces with glue dots.  A few more gems were added to the bottom third of the card.

Next up on tonight's blog hop is Andrea Sargent:

STAMPIN' UP! TRUCKING ALONG THANK YOU CARD

I love the O Holy Night Designer Series Paper, from Stampin' Up!, for masculine cards.  The rich earthy tones, and the patterns, are just beautiful.  Here's the second card I made with these papers, and the Trucking Along bundle:

I layered strips of five different patterned papers, from the O Holy Night DSP pack, onto a piece of Crumb Cake card.  I really like the inclusion of Night of Navy on this card.

After stamping the sentiment on Basic White card, I cut it (and the slightly larger circle of navy starry paper) out using Stylish Shapes Dies.  A few Ombre Matte Decorative Dots underline the sentiment.

The truck outline and the tyres were stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black ink, on Basic White card.  I used Pebbled Path ink to stamp the solid truck.  Brushed Metallic Adhesive-Backed Dots were added to the wheels, and Copper Clay Textured Ribbon tied around the card front.
