STAMPIN' UP! DAPPER MALE 21st BIRTHDAY CARD

For my nephew's 21st birthday card, I opened my pack of True Gentleman Designer Series Paper ... I've been dying to make something with this!  Check out the pretty adorable bow-tie patterned paper, and sumptuous corduroy ribbon sitting beneath the custom-made bow tie.

I just love the colours in this paper pack.  I wouldn't have thought to team Tranquil Tide and Chocolate Chip with night of Navy - but it's a winning combo, don't you think?

JAI #342: JUST ADD "N"

It's time for the last Just Add Ink challenge of the year ... and this one, to allow for Christmas holidays, will run through until 4th January.

Tina has challenged us to Just Add "N" to our papercraft projects this week.

I have used Night of Navy, a note paper background stamp, and numbers, to make a card for a milestone birthday recently celebrated by someone special.  I've kept my design fairly simple, letting the patterned paper and sparkly glimmer paper steal the show.  Despite being tempted to add a few more bits, I opted for a more elegant look.

STAMPIN' UP! NUMBER OF YEARS MASCULINE 21st BIRTHDAY CARD

Today my first born son is 21!

Here is a recent photo of my boys - Jack is on the left, and Ethan (almost 5 years his junior) is on the right.

..... And, just for fun, here they both are just 6 years ago, celebrating Jack's 15th birthday.  What a change!

Jack had his party on Saturday night, and chose a black and gold theme for his cake ... so I carried that through on to the card I made for him:
