STAMPIN' UP! HUMMING ALONG GET WELL CARD IN MANGO MELODY

I was so pleased with how my mother-in-law's card turned out, that I used the same layout for a "get well" card.  This card features Mango Melody (another colour I have used very little, but may be converted to!).

I think these cheery colours would brighten the day of someone who's feeling under the weather - don't you?

STAMPIN' UP! HUMMING ALONG MOTHER'S DAY CARD #2

I've expanded on my new-found love for Flirty Flamingo, and gone "all out pink" for my mother-in-law's Mother's Day card!

The gorgeous flowers on this card were coloured using Flirty Flamingo and Poppy Parade Stampin' Blends (alcohol-based markers).  I embossed the Flirty Flamingo card, using the Subtle embossing folder.  The sweet lacy border strip is from the Delightfully Detailed Laser Cut Specialty Paper pack.

STAMPIN' UP! HUMMING ALONG MOTHER'S DAY CARD #1

While I was in the midst of creating with the Humming Along bundle of products, I decided to make  Mother's Day cards.  The card I'm sharing today is the card I made for my mother.  Mother's Day this year is rather poignant for us, as it falls on what would have been my parents' 57th wedding anniversary.  Dad died in March this year, so this is just one of the many "firsts" we'll experience without him.  My sister, her partner, and I will take Mum out for lunch tomorrow, to mark both occasions.
