STAMPIN' UP! LITTLE DREAMERS ELEPHANT BABY CARD

Today's card is the last in my latest run of baby cards ... I think I have enough, for now!

Again, I've used the Little Dreamers stamp and die bundle.  The elephant is just the cutest, isn't it?!

After stamping the elephant in Smoky Slate ink on Basic White card, I coloured it using Smoky Slate and Bubble Bath Stampin' Blends markers, and the Color Lifter (to add the look of texture).  The Bubble Bath DSP circle was cut using a Stylish Shapes Die, and sponged around the edges with Bubble Bath ink.  I sponged the edges of the Smoky Slate DSP, using Smoky Slate ink.

I added a bow made from Bubble Bath Sheer Ribbon, and  some sweet Pastel Adhesive-Backed Sequins, to finish off my card.

The die-cut sentiment, in Bubble Bath and Basic White, was created with the Sending Dies.  I stamped "love and big hugs" in Basic Gray ink, on Bubble Bath card, before cropping with one of the sentiment labels in the Sending Dies set.

STAMPIN' UP! JUST MY TYPE "SENDING LOVE" CARD

I have been having a lot of fun creating with the Just My Type stamp set, so be prepared for quite a few cute typewriter cards coming up!

I dreamt of a card with this colour combination (not unusual, for my brain that thinks in Stampin' Up! colours), and, happily, it translated well to my creation!

I've teamed Just My Type with Sending Smiles, and the co-ordinating Sending Dies:

I stamped the typewriter in Lost Lagoon ink, and the paper in Pool Party ink, then fussy-cut around them (super easy, for those of you who might cringe when you hear "fussy cut" 😊).  Using creative licence, I stamped two Highland Heather flowers on the paper.  I love the idea of putting symbols, or images, rather than words, on the typewriter paper.

The typewriter has been raised up (using Stampin' Dimensionals) on a Lost Lagoon "ledge" that I embossed with the Timber 3D embossing folder.  Pool Party grosgrain ribbon adds a break between the typewriter and cardstock strip.

I used a Gorgeously Made Die to cut the "notepad" edge on the bottom of the Highland Heather main panel.  Glossy Dots were added to some flower centres.

As you can better see in the close-up shots, I repeatedly stamped a few images from the Just My Type stamp set, in Highland Heather ink, on the Highland Heather card layer.  I first stamped "Hello" in rows, then added little solid hearts in between.  Lastly, I filled the remaining spaces with the flower outline stamp.

"Sending" was cut from Pool Party card.  On Highland Heather card, I white heat-embossed the second part of the sentiment, then cropped it with one of the labels from the Sending Dies set.
