STAMPIN' UP! DANDY GARDEN MEMORIES & MORE CARD #2

Today I have another Dandy Garden Memories & More card to share with you.  In keeping with the colourway of the design on the card front and envelope, I've used lots of Bumblebee elements.

After stamping the dandelion and bee images on Whisper White card, I coloured them using Stampin' Write markers, in Bumblebee and Mossy Meadow.  I die-cut a single Bumblebee "dandelion" to decorate the larger flower head, and added a resin dot to the centre.

The sentiment was cut out using the Messages Die - a large die that is designed to cut lots of panels at once, but that can also be used for a single small piece!  Isn't the Bumblebee Gingham Ribbon just delightful?  I must use it more.

As you can see a little better in this close-up shot, I have added texture to both of the long rectangular panels adhered to the card front.  The Whisper White mat has been embossed with the Subtle 3D embossing folder.  The Bumblebee decorative rectangle, die cut with an Ornate Layers die, has been embossed with a Greenery embossing folder.

Listed below are all the products I used to make this card.  If you live in Australia, and would like to shop with me for your Stampin' Up! supplies, you can get to my online store by clicking on any of the thumbnail images below.

STAMPIN' UP! DANDY GARDEN MEMORIES & MORE CARD #1

Have you seen the Memories & More cards and envelopes, in the Dandy Garden Suite collection, in Stampin' Up!'s January - June Mini Catalogue?  For $17.50, you get 20 scored cards, with pre-printed fronts (ready to decorate as you please), and 20 envelopes with a beautiful matching design on the front and back.

Today I am sharing with you how I have decorated one of these cards, using complementary products from the Dandy Garden Suite.

I started by covering the bottom section of the card front with some Dandy Garden DSP, in Bumblebee.  From Whisper White card, I cut a Stitched Rectangle panel, and added detail with a Stitched With Whimsy die - that's the "wonky" stitched detail on the inside edge of the panel.  In Seaside Spray ink, I stamped some flyaway dandelion heads across the top of this piece. I matted this panel on a slightly larger piece of Misty Moonlight card, with the edges sponged in Misty Moonlight ink.

On another piece of Whisper White card, I stamped three of the single dandelions with leaves, from the Garden Wishes stamp set.  I coloured the stems with Mossy Meadow Stampin' Blends, and stamped the dandelion flowers in Bumblebee ink, and Seaside Spray ink, stamping each a few times to give good colour intensity.  After die-cutting the dandelions, I snipped off the leaves, and some of the stem, from the Seaside Spray dandelion, to fit it between the two Bumblebee ones.

The horizontal strip of Misty Moonlight paper across the stitched panel is also from the Dandy Garden DSP pack.  I adhered the die-cut dandelions to this piece, then overlaid the sentiment (from Garden Wishes), which was stamped in Misty Moonlight ink and die-cut with a label die from the Hippo Dies.
I added a bow of Seaside Spray Metallic Ribbon, and a Blue Adhesive-Backed  Gem, to finish off the card.

Here's the finished card, with matching envelope:

I'm very happy with the quality of these cards and envelopes, and love how well they co-ordinate with all  the other Dandy Garden products.  I'll have another example, of how to use these cards, tomorrow.
