STAMPIN' UP! SAILIING HOME BIRTHDAY CARD

In our new Stampin' Up! catalogue, there is a fantastic suite of products with a nautical theme, particularly well suited to masculine cards and projects.  I made a birthday card for my eldest brother, based on one of the samples on the cover of the new Annual Catalogue.  Here's what I came up with, using stamps, dies, embellishments and Designer Series Paper from the Come Sail Away suite of products:

I really like the greens (in this case, Old Olive and Mossy Meadow) teamed with navy - a bit of a departure from my usual colour combos!

I have listed below all the Stampin' Up! products used to make this card.  If you would like to shop for Stampin' Up! products, and you live in Australia (and don't already have your own demonstrator), I would love for you to shop with me.  My online store can be accessed by clicking on any of the thumbnail images below.

Come back tomorrow to see a completely different card, using other new products!

STAMPIN' UP! FIRST FROST BIRTHDAY CARD IN GREENS

Today's share features the beautiful new First Frost bundle, and my favourite designs from the Frosted Floral Designer Series Paper pack.  I normally make this birthday girl's cards in blue, but decided these gorgeous papers just had to be used.

The DSP is the star of this card.  The only stamping is the sentiment (from the Darling Label punch box), and one little flower in Tranquil Tide.  I have embellished the flower with a tiny snowflake, from Santa's Workshop enamel shapes, and a rhinestone coloured with my dark Soft Suede Stampin' Blends marker.

Here is a close-up of the cluster of foliage, and the stamped and die-cut flower:

STAMPIN' UP! FIRST FROST THINKING OF YOU CARD IN BLACKBERRY BLISS

Oh my goodness, you just HAVE to see the First Frost bundle of products, and Frosted Floral Designer Series Paper, in Stampin' Up!'s Holiday Catalogue!  A gorgeous stamp set containing floral and leafy images, and lovely sentiments, pairs with awesome dies that cut out almost every image.  The papers are shimmery, and just heavenly.

Here's the result of my first play with these products.  I chose to use a sentiment from the Darling Label punch box, as I was looking for something smalish, to fit amongst the stamped flowers.

... and here is a different view, so you can see the shimmer of the paper:

Listed below are the products I used to make this card.  If you live in Australia, and would like to order these products for yourself, I would love for you to shop with me.  My online store can be accessed by clicking on any of the thumbnail images below.

I'll have another card, using very different patterns and colours of paper from this same DSP pack, to share on Tuesday.  It is a birthday card for a friend, and I will wait until I've given it to her, to share it on my blog.

Thanks for visiting my blog today.  I hope you are having a great weekend!
