STAMPIN' UP! MASCULINE BIRTHDAY CARD WITH BROADWAY BOUND DSP

My recent Broadway Birthday card got me thinking about the great Broadway Bound Designer Series Paper, that I have hardly used.  This paper pack has some fabulous bold designs with metallic accents.  I have used a few of these designs on today's card.

The photo doesn't do it justice ... the candle flames are also a lovely shimmery gold.

I have listed below all the Stampin' Up! products used to make this card.  If you would like to buy them for yourself, and you live in Australia, I would love for you to shop with me.  Clicking on any of the thumbnail images below will take you direct to my online store.

STAMPIN' UP! FLYING HOME "JUST A NOTE"

I am in love with the sweet Flying Home stamp set that's in our current Occasions Catalogue.  The beautiful fine line images are perfect for colouring in, and I've done just that with my Stampin' Blends (alcohol markers).

Here's the first of six cards that I'll be sharing with you, to give different ideas for use of this lovely set.  I stamped all of the images on Thick Whisper White cardstock, using Memento Tuxedo Black ink, before colouring with Stampin' Blends.

I've listed below all the Stampin' Up! products used to make this card.  If you would like to buy them for yourself, clicking on one of the thumbnail images will take you direct to my online store.

I look forward to sharing my other Flying Home cards with you in the coming days!

THE HEART OF CHRISTMAS #6: STAMPIN' UP! LOVELY AS A TREE

I'm back with my new regular Wednesday feature, taking part in some Stampin' Up! Christmas idea sharing, with other members of Claire Daly's Art With Heart Team.

This week I've gone a bit rustic, with an old favourite stamp set, Lovely As A Tree.  I have incorporated some woodgrain elements, with the DSP I've used, and with a new Dynamic Textured Impression Embossing Folder.

After I had stamped the trees on the Very Vanilla piece, I ran the cardstock through my Big Shot, with the new Pinewood Planks embossing folder.  I sponged some Crumb Cake ink over the top of the debossed image, to bring out some of the detail.  Here's a closer look:

Make sure you check out all the creations being shared by the team this week.  Claire has a list on her blog, of all participants.  We hope you love what we've made; please comment on all the blogs, so we know you have been to visit.

As always, if you would like to buy Stampin' Up! products to make these projects yourself, you can go to my online store by clicking on one of the thumbnail images below.  Thanks for visiting today!
