STAMPIN' UP! BIRTHDAY CARD IN FLIRTY FLAMINGO & GRANNY APPLE GREEN

While I was having my last play with the Shimmer Detailed Laser Cut Specialty Paper (that's retiring tomorrow, and is on special now for only $10.00!), I changed my colour combo and came up with another birthday card.

Here's the new colour combination I used:

I used a piece of the paper that has a circular aperture, containing a laser-cut bird and branches, with leaves.  My Stampin' Blends came in handy to colour the pieces inside the circle.  I then mounted that piece on a square of Whisper White card, that I'd embossed with a new embossing folder (it's released on Wednesday).

The Flirty Flamingo card panel is stamped with the Birch background stamp (using Flirty Flamingo ink).  The sentiment, and little scalloped strip, come from the Varied Vases stamp set, that is retiring.

The die-cut sprigs to the right of the card were made with the Butterfly Beauty dies.   I used my Dark Flirty Flamingo Stampin' Blends marker to colour the rhinestones on the sentiment panel.

I can't yet link to the new Greenery embossing folder in my online store, but all other products used to make this card are listed below.  They're available to purchase from my store, 24/7.  If you live in Australia, you can shop with me by clicking on any of the thumbnail images below.  I'd love to help you out with Stampin' Up! products, if you don't already have a demonstrator you shop with.

STAMPIN' UP! VARIED VASES FRIENDSHIP CARD

The other day, while I had out my Varied Vases stamp set, and Country Lane Designer Series Paper, I made a second card in different colourways.  Crushed Curry, Early Espresso and Whisper White make for a bold, fresh combination, don't you think?

It wasn't until I had assembled and photographed my card, that I didn't "anchor" the vases with a little shelf.  Whoops!  I think the graphic look of the card lets me get away with it.

The Stamparatus was key in colouring the floral spray on this card.  I stamped the outline image in Early Espresso, then filled the gaps with the flower stamp and Crushed Curry ink.  Check out how beautifully the two-step stamping aligned!

I have listed below all the products used to make this card.  If you click on any of the thumbnail images, you'll be taken direct to my online store.  I would love for you to shop with me, if you live in Australia, and don't already have a Stampin' Up1 demonstrator you buy from.

STAMPIN' UP! VARIED VASES BIRTHDAY CARD IN BLACKBERRY BLISS

I broke open my pack of Country Lane Designer Series Paper (oh my goodness, it is gorgeous!), and decided to team it with Varied Vases, a stamp set I have barely used.

Here's the first card I made ... a welcome change from Christmas card production, and I just love these colours together:

I stamped the floral spray in Mint Macaron ink, then used a blrnder pen to pick up colour from the inkpad and apply to the flowers.

All of the Stampin' Up! products I used to make this card are listed below, and are available to purchase from my online store.  Clicking on any of the thumbnail images below will take you directly to my store.  If you live in Australia, and don't already have a Stampin' Up! demonstrator,  I would love for you to shop with me.

I will have another Varied Vases/Country Lane card to share with you in a couple of days; I hope you'll visit again, to see what I created with different coloured papers from this lovely pack.
