I have one more Lost Lagoon card to share with you, to round out the week. Earlier in the week, I die-cut a piece of Lost Lagoon Soft Shimmer Paper, using a Gorgeous Garden Die, and layered it on top of a piece of Inked Botanicals Designer Series Paper. It turned out that I didn't use this piece for my Colour Creations card, so I made something else with it, using this colour combination:
Using a Stylish Shapes Die, I cut a circle from vellum. I coloured the back of the vellum with the Light Pool Party Stampin' Blends marker, as I didn't want it to be stark white. After embossing this circle with the Timber 3D embossing folder, I coloured the front of it with the Stampin' Blends marker, as it was still too light.
From Pecan Pie card, I cut two branches using Seasonal Branches Dies. I glued one on top of the other, for a little added dimension, since each branch is so thin. I die-cut the flowers from Bubble Bath Soft Shimmer Paper, and added an Iridescent Rhinestone to each flower centre.
The bird was stamped in Basic Gray ink on Basic White card, and coloured using Stampin' Blends markers. I used Lost Lagoon and Pool Party for the body, and a touch of Light Pecan Pie for the beak.
To the top of the circle, I added a bow (that you can see in the photo above). I laid together a length each of Pool Party Grosgrain Ribbon, and Silver & White Sheer Ribbon, and tied a bow. Glue Dots were used to stick it down. In the photo above, you can also see that I added a scalloped border of Bubble Bath Soft Shimmer Paper. I cut this using the long edge of a Scalloped Contours frame die.
The sentiment was stamped in Lost Lagoon ink on a strip of Basic White card. I stamped the flowers in Bubble Bath ink, and sponged Bubble Bath ink around the edges of the sentiment strip. A couple more Iridescent Rhinestones were added to this piece.
Listed below are all the products I used to make this card. If you live in Australia, and would like to shop with me for your Stampin' Up! supplies, you can get to my online store by clicking on any of the thumbnail images below.
