STAMPIN' UP! MERRIEST TREES CHRISTMAS CARD IN LOST LAGOON

While I was creating with Lost Lagoon for this week's Colour Creations blog hop, I made a Christmas card featuring this beautiful colour with Pretty Peacock and silver.

I used two patterned papers from the Winter Meadow Designer Series Paper pack, for the background.  The watercolour-wash looking paper was embossed with the Distressed Tile 3D embossing folder.  I then sponged around the edges with Lost Lagoon ink, and mounted it on a slightly larger panel of Lost Lagoon card.  The watercoloured trees paper was sponged around the edges with Lost Lagoon ink, and adhered towards the bottom of the embossed paper.

I stamped the sentiment in Versamark ink on a piece of Lost Lagoon card, and heat-embossed it with white embossing powder. I sponged white craft ink around the edges of the tree, and added Adhesive-Backed Glitter Sequins.  The tree pot/skirt was cut from Pretty Peacock card, and the star on top of the tree was silver-embossed on Basic White card.

Silver & White Sheer Ribbon ties in (pardon the pun) nicely with the white and silver touches on my card.

I stamped some presents in Lost Lagoon ink, and others in Versamark ink, on Basic White card.  I heat-embossed the Versamark ones with silver embossing powder, and did the same for the bows adorning the Lost Lagoon presents.
