STAMPIN' UP! HOT AIR BALLOON BIRTHDAY CARD #2 IN LEMON LIME TWIST

When I was making my card for this week's Colour Creations blog hop, I stamped another hot air balloon, in the opposite colourway (Lemon Lime Twist balloon, with a Tahitian Tide band across the middle).  Here's the second card I made, using mostly the same products as on my first card ... but with added ribbon, and some black sparkly gems.  This card features the Hot Air Balloon bundle from Stampin' Up!, that will be released on 4th January 2024.  Stampin' Up! demonstrators get to order some new products in advance of every catalogue release.

I have used Lemon Lime Twist papers from both the Stargazing DSP pack and Glorious Gingham DSP pack, and sponged the edges with Lemon Lime Twist ink.

Bunting was die-cut from Tahitian Tide, Basic Black and Lemon Lime Twist card.  I applied Adhesive Sheet to the back of each piece of card before die-cutting, so the little flags came out like stickers.  Much cleaner that the gluey mess I managed to make with Liquid Glue on parts of this card!

I used a Blending Brush to subtly apply Tahitian Tide ink to a scrap of Basic White card.  Using the two sizes of cloud dies from the Hot Air Balloon Dies, I cut a few clouds.  I used Paper Snips to trim off the overhang of the top right cloud.

Those gorgeous black embellishments are Adhesive-Backed Sparkle Gems.  I also added Tinsel Gems in Lemon Lime Twist.

I laid some Lemon Lime Twist ribbon, from the Ribbon Duo Combo Pack, across the card front.  I then tied a knot around this piece with two shorter strips of the same ribbon, and secured the knot with a glue dot or two.

After stamping the sentiment in Memento Tuxedo Black ink, on Basic White card, I cut it out using a Stylish Shapes Die.

Because the Hot Air Balloon bundle is not available to purchase until January (unless you sign up before then as a demonstrator), I cannot link to it in my online store.  I have, however, listed below the current Stampin' Up! products used on my card.  If you live in Australia, and would like to shop with me for your Stampin' Up! supplies, you can get to my online store by clicking on any of the thumbnail images below.
