STAMPIN' UP! GILDED AUTUMN CARD WITH ORNATE LAYERS

The only stamping on my card today is the sentiment.  Just look at the beautiful papers, from the Gilded Autumn Specialty Designer Series Paper pack!  I've used the Ornate Layers dies, to cut out the gorgeous leafy patterned paper, and the larger mat of Crumb Cake speckled paper.

I've been using a "flicking" technique, with markers, lately to achieve the speckled look on my cards.  This paper does all the work for me!  I am in love with the leafy paper ... aren't the colours just so pretty?  The Very Vanilla layer behind the speckled Crumb Cake piece is embossed with the Tasteful Textile 3D embossing folder, and matted on a panel of Mint Macaron card.

Because of the detail in the papers and the Ornate Layers dies, I've kept embellishment to a minimum.  I added some Very Vanilla ribbon (that I like to call bandage ribbon, as it's very soft and feels like a gauze bandage!), and some Champagne rhinestones.  The sentiment (from Peaceful Moments) was stamped in Early Espresso ink on a piece of Very Vanilla card, then cut out using a Stitched So Sweetly die.

Listed below are all the products I used to make this card.  They are available to purchase from my online store, which can be accessed by clicking on any of the thumbnail images below.  I'd love for you to shop with me, if you live in Australia.
