STAMPIN' UP! TO A WILD ROSE THANKS CARD

The last card in my Heartwarming Hugs Designer Series Paper share is a non-Christmas card!  I wanted to use a couple of the patterns of Real Red paper, so consulted my old Stampin' Up! Color Coach to come up with a colour combination.  I accepted the challenge of creating with this rather retro combination:

I stamped the flower outlines in Early Espresso ink, on Whisper White card.  The stamped and die-cut leaves are also in Early Espresso.

When I stamped the two layers of colour on the roses, I first stamped in Pumpkin Pie, then stamped over the top with Real Red ink that I'd stamped off first onto a scrap piece of paper (to reduce the intensity of colour).  Even though I wouldn't have thought to use these colours together, I think it gives quite a lovely result.  The gems I have used to embellish this card are Holiday Rhinestones, in Pumpkin Pie.

Listed below are the products I used to make this card.  They are available to purchase from my online store, if you live in Australia.  If you would like to shop with me, you can get to my store by clicking on any of the thumbnail images below.
