STAMPIN' UP! FOREVER GREENERY STRIPES & STARS BIRTHDAY CARD

I really like the watercoloured stripes in the Forever Greenery Designer Series Paper pack.  I think this paper makes a great "guy" card - simple, and unfussy (albeit very green!).

The striped paper is mounted on a panel of Shaded Spruce card.  I used my Stamparatus to create the lovely bold sentiment, from Happiest of Birthdays.  I inked the large stamp in Pear Pizzazz ink first, then applied a couple of other greens using sponge daubers.  I used Shaded Spruce and Pretty Peacock inks to add the darker shading.

After cropping the sentiment panel with Stitched Rectangle Dies, I turned to my fab Stitched Stars Dies to add a bit of detail.  I have cut various stars from Pear Pizzazz, Just Jade, Shaded Spruce and Pretty Peacock card scraps.  A few Holiday Rhinestones finish off the card.
