STAMPIN' UP! HEARTWARMING HUGS DECK THE HALLS CHRISTMAS CARD

Over the next few days, I'll be sharing cards made with the beautiful Heartwarming Hugs Designer Series Paper, from the August - December Mini Catalogue.  This paper is on special, 15% off, for all of October.

I have used Christmas Gleaming as my stamp set on this card.  The three ornaments have been stamped on Mossy Meadow, Real Red and Pear Pizzazz card, in matching inks. I coloured the holly and berries with Stampin' Blends markers - Real Red and Old Olive.  I have to say, the cluster of embellishments in the top right corner was not what I intended ... I had placed a few dots on the paper, and went to move them, only to find they were stuck fast and would tear the paper if lifted.  So, I just had to fill in a bit of space!

 Here's a close up of the beautiful ornament stamp (the diamond detail on which, I think, goes nicely with the bottom panel of patterned paper), punched out using one of the Gleaming Ornaments punches:
