Faced with the very colourful and busy poinsettia-patterned paper from Flowers For Every Season, I decided to create a simple Christmas card. I matted the paper on a Just Jade piece of card, to start with. I cut two narrow strips of Poppy Parade card, and adhered them in a cross pattern on the poinsettia paper. Over the top of these strips, I laid some Just Jade ribbon, to give the impression of a wrapped parcel.
Using the Gift Wrapped bundle (stamp set, and Bow builder punch), I stamped on a scrap of Whisper White card, in Memento Tuxedo Black ink, one of the bow images. I coloured it with Poppy Parade and Just Jade Stampin' Blends markers, then punched it out. The sentiment is stamped in Just Jade ink on Whisper White card, that has then been cut out using the Stitched So Sweetly dies. I used the Subtle 3D embossing folder to add a little texture to this piece, before matting it on a slightly larger piece of Just Jade card. The sentiment panel has been added with Stampin' Dimensionals.
The bow is also popped up on Stampin' Dimensionals, and a few Poppy Parade dots from All the Trimmings Embellishments finish off the card.
