This week I am joining with some of my Stampin' Up! friends, in showcasing Just Jade, one of our beautiful In Colors that will be in Stampin' Up!'s range until 2022. Cathy Proctor co-ordinates our weekly shares, and has a comprehensive list on her blog of everyone participating. We hope you will hop around all our blogs, to see how we have used this lovely colour on our papercraft projects.
Just Jade, along with the other four In Colors introduced this year, features in the Flowers For Every Season Designer Series Paper pack. I have chosen a happy floral paper as my main focus. As well as using a panel in the background (teamed with In Good Taste Designer Series Paper, that is on special until the end of October), I cut a stitched scalloped rectangle of the patterned paper, using the Stitched So Sweetly dies. I matted this piece on a slightly larger Whisper White die-cut scalloped rectangle, and mounted my stamped sentiment on the flowery panel.
Listed below are all the products I used to make my card. They are available to purchase from my online store, which is open to Australian shoppers 24/7. If you would like to shop with me for your Stampin' Up! supplies, you can get to my store by clicking on any of the thumbnail images below.
Make sure you go to Cathy's blog, to see the list of everyone taking part in this week's Colour Creations Showcase. We are really enjoying working our way through Stampin' Up!'s colour range, in alphabetical order, and hope we are inspiring you to stretch yourself out of your "colour comfort zone"!
Christine this is such a beautiful card and your sponged daisy really brings the pattern in the DSP to life. Thank you for taking part in the colour creations showcase tonight!
ReplyDeleteVery bright happy card Christine, I love the die you used to cut the greeting I hadn’t noticed this one before
ReplyDeleteGreat combination of papers, Christine, and the daisy really sets it off a treat.
ReplyDeleteChristine, this is such a sweet card. I love the combination of DSP's, they combine so well together on your lovely design.
ReplyDeleteWow, the sponging on the daisy is brilliant and the font of that sentiment is so pretty. A wonderfully cheerful card, Christine.
ReplyDeleteWho would've thought to use those 2 papers together but you have done it beautifully by adding that gorgeous gingham ribbon. Such a great idea for the daisy centre too!
ReplyDeleteI never would have thought have to put these two papers together but they work really well together. Lovely universal card.
ReplyDeleteYour card looks like a very pretty garden scene to me where the lovely flowers are climbing up the garden wall. I love the way you have replicated the daisy in the DSP with your daisy punch Christine. I love this technique. Your patterned paper combo is perfect.
