STAMPIN' UP! PLAYING WITH PATTERNS DAISY CARD

Playing With Patterns is one of the Designer Series Paper packs on special this month, so I've had a little play to come up with some ideas on how to use it.  The colours in this pack are not colours I would have thought of using together, so it's a good challenge for me!

For my first card, I've teamed Purple Posy with Night of Navy.  I rather love how they look together!

Using the Daisy Lane stamp set, I stamped both sized daisies (several times) in Night of Navy ink, on Whisper White card.  I coloured the flowers with my Purple Posy Stampin' Blends markers.  After punching them out, I layered the flowers, and adhered them to stitched circles of Purple Posy card.  The circles were then matted on scalloped circles of Night of Navy card.

I have used three of the different patterned papers from this pack, on my card.

The Purple Posy has photographed very pale ... you'll just have to take my word for it that the polka-dot paper, and the circles behind the daisies, are a light pinkish-purple to the eye!

I stamped the sentiment in Night of Navy ink, on a piece of paper that added a bit more colour to the card.  If I'd left it as just Purple Posy and Night of Navy, I think it would have looked a little washed out.

The flower centres are Purple Posy resin dots, from the Playing With Patterns Resin Dots pack.  They are close in colour to the ribbon you see in the photo, with a slightly more purple tone.

Listed below are all the products I used to make this card.  If you live in Australia, and would like to shop with me for your Stampin' Up! supplies, you can get to my online store by clicking on any of the thumbnail images below.

Tomorrow I will have another Playing With Patterns card to share, using some different colour combinations.
