STAMPIN' UP! QUEEN ANNE'S LACE IN SOFT SEA FOAM

Queen Anne's Lace is a really sweet stamp set, containing fine-lined images and sentiments.  I set out to make a bright card using the flowers, but thought my first card should be true to the realistic colours of Queen Anne's Lace plants ... green, with soft white flowers.

I stamped the stem and flower outline stamp in Soft Sea Foam ink, on Soft Sea Foam card.  I used my Stamparatus so that I could stamp over it a couple of times, to get a darker impression for the stems.  I then used Versamark ink to stamp the fill-in flowers, and heat-embossed them with white embossing powder.

Here's a closer view of all the layers on the front of the card, with sponged edges, some embossing, and tone-on-tone background stamping:

The sentiment carries into the inside of the card:

The sequins I used on this card are retired, but were a perfect colour match, so I couldn't resist using them.  The bow is made with Snowflake Splendor ribbon, that is coming out in a few days ... the new Mini Catalogue launches on 4th August.  All other products used are current, and are listed below.  They're available to purchase from my online store, which you can reach by clicking on any of the thumbnail images below.  If you live in Australia, I would love for you to shop with me for your Stampin' Up! supplies.
