STAMPIN' UP! HAND-DRAWN BLOOMS BRIGHT BIRTHDAY CARD

The card I'm sharing today was inspired by a sample on p. 175 of the Stampin' Up! Annual Catalogue.  It's a sweet, simple design, and a bit different to anything I would have thought of making with the Hand-Drawn Blooms bundle.

I stamped my flowers in Gorgeous Grape, Melon Mambo and Daffodil Delight inks, on Whisper White card.  Using blender pens, I picked up ink from the same coloured inkpads and messily coloured the flowers before die-cutting them.

Across the main Whisper White panel, I repeatedly stamped part of the large bouquet stamp in Crumb Cake ink.  I adhered stems cut from Granny Apple Green and Pear Pizzazz card, and embossed the cardstock with my Subtle 3D embossing folder.  The flower heads were glued on to the stems after I'd embossed the background.  I white-embossed the sentiment on Melon Mambo card, and trimmed the flagged banners using Paper Snips.

I like the embossed texture on the stems:

STAMPIN' UP! ARRANGE A WREATH CHRISTMAS CARDS

I have teamed the fabulous Arrange A Wreath bundle with Heartwarming Hugs Designer Series Paper, to make a couple of crisp, clean, Christmas cards.  I love the colours in these papers, and have used them with a little variation on both cards.

On my first card, I stamped a wreath on Whisper White card, in Mossy Meadow ink.  I overlaid a die-cut wreath in Pear Pizzazz card, and poinsettias cut from Real Red card.  The sentiment is stamped in Pear Pizzazz ink.

I have used the same design on my second card, but stamped the wreath in Pear Pizzazz ink, and die-cut a wreath from Mossy Meadow card.  The sentiment on this card is stamped in Mossy Meadow ink.  I kicked myself after uploading these pics, as I'd meant to dry-emboss the Whisper White panel on this card, to give a slightly different look!  Ah well, that can be a project for another Christmas card-making day.

I have listed below all the Stampin' Up! products used to make these cards.  If you would like to shop in my online store, and live in Australia, just click on any of the thumbnail images below.

STAMPIN' UP! FESTIVE POST CARS CHRISTMAS CARD

Festive Post is a great stamp set that's designed to use with the Rectangular Postage Stamp punch.  I used the punch to make three panels, to go across the front of my card.  Two of the punched out Whisper White pieces have been stamped with the car image, and the centre piece stamped with sentiments and some other little stamps.  I used Memento Tuxedo Black ink to stamp the cars, because I wanted the tyres and the tree outlines to be black.  I then stamped, on another piece of Whisper White card, one car in Misty Moonlight, and one in Poppy Parade.  I cut out the bodies of the cars, and glued them over the top of the black stamped images.  Sponging around the edges of the punched pieces, with Crumb Cake ink, helps give them a bit of warmth.  I love the "homely" look of this card!

Listed below are all the products I used to make this card.  If you would like to buy them, and you live in Australia, I would love for you to shop in my online store.  You can access my store by clicking on any of the thumbnail images below.
