STAMPIN' UP! HEART OF CHRISTMAS - WEEK 5

Every Monday night, a group of us from the Art With Heart team in Australia shares our Christmas creations using Stampin' Up! products.

Last week I shared my first card made with the Words of Cheer bundle, that comes out tomorrow in the new Mini Catalogue.  Tonight's card was made with some of the other products from the very versatile bundle.

I started off by stamping the large poinsettia spray image in Memento Tuxedo Black ink, on Basic White card.  I coloured the flowers, berries and some of the foliage, using Cherry Cobbler and Crumb Cake Stampin' Blends markers. I wanted to use Garden Green for the holly leaves; as we don't have this green in Stampin' Blends, I used my Garden Green Stampin' Write marker.  The coloured image was then cut out using a die from the bundle.

I love the layering word dies in the Words of Cheer bundle.  Last week I used the vertical "cheer", and tonight it's the turn of the horizontal "happy".  I cut the word from Cherry Cobbler card, and the matting layer (with sprigs) from Sahara Sand card, to complement the colour in the background paper.  The patterned paper (with a look of birch) is from the Peaceful Prints Designer Series Paper pack, that can be earned for free from tomorrow, when Sale-A-Bration starts.

I stamped the word "Christmas" in Garden Green ink on Basic White card, and cropped it using a sweet sentiment label die from the Hydrangea Dies.

My ribbon treatment is a combination of Fine Art Ribbon (laid across the card front), and the new Cherry Cobbler & Gold Metallic Ribbon, available from tomorrow.

The next person on tonight's blog hop is Sharon Davern.  If you click on the button below, you'll be taken to her blog.

If at any time you find a broken link, please head to the blog of this week’s Host of the Heart of Christmas Blog Hop, Rachel Woollard.  Rachel has on her blog a comprehensive list of all participants in this week's blog hop.

Because I have used mostly new products (coming out tomorrow) on my card, I can't yet link to them in my online store.  I have, however, listed below all the current products I used.  If you live in Australia, and would like to shop with me for your Stampin' Up! supplies, you can get to my online store by clicking on any of the thumbnail images below.
