The colour challenge at The Color Hues appealed to me when I saw it this week, as these are colours I don't naturally gravitate towards:
The Stampin' Up! colours I have paried are Coastal Cabana and Calypso Coral.
I placed a Plenty of Patterns Decorative Mask over a panel of Basic White card. Using Blending Brushes, I picked up ink from the two inkpads and randomly applied it over the top of the decorative mask. When I removed the mask, it revealed a geometric background piece. I cut this out with a Stitched Rectangle Die, and added a small Coastal Cabana border (cut using a Basic Borders Die) to the bottom. This layer was matted on a piece of Calypso Coral card, embossed with the Tasteful Textile 3D embossing folder.
The "21" was cut out using Playful Alphabet Dies, and Black Glitter Paper. I cut some Black Stampin' Dimensionals, to fit on the small numbers, to give them a bit of height when adhered to the card. The embellishments I added, to finish off my design, are Playing With Patterns Resin Dots, and Matte Black Dots.
Listed below are all the products I used to make this card. If you live in Australia, and would like to shop with me for your Stampin' Up! supplies, you can get to my online store by clicking on any of the thumbnail images below.
