STAMPIN' UP! SYMPATHY CARD IN BROWNS

I still had Cinnamon Cider on my mind, after it was this week's focus of the Colour Creations blog hop I take part in every week.

I'm in love with the new Blackberry Beauty Designer Series Papers.  Despite the name, there are some designs that incorporate Cinnamon Cider and Early Espresso.  I have used these papers to make a sympathy card.

I used a Blending Brush to apply ink to elements of my card.  The following photo shows this a bit more clearly.

I blended Cinnamon Cider ink around the outer edges of the Cinnamon Cider DSP panel.  After die-cutting some reeds/stems from Cinnamon Cider card, I added Cinnamon Cider ink to the tops.  The cone flower was die cut from Very Vanilla card, then inked using Cinnamon Cider and Early Espresso inks.

I layered the die cut stems and floral pieces with a couple cut from Gold Metallic Paper, and added a Gold Shimmer Ribbon bow.   A strip of Gold Metallic Paper provides a break between the two patterns of Designer Series Paper on my card front.

The sentiment is from the Delicate Dahlias stamp set, which can be yours for free, if you order $180+ of Stampin' Up! product in August or September.  It was stamped in Cinnamon Cider ink on Very Vanilla card, and cut out using a Tasteful Labels die.  Champagne Rhinestones add a bit more bling.

Listed below are the products I used to make this card.  If you live in Australia, and would like to shop with me for your Stampin' Up! supplies, you can get to my online store by clicking on any of the thumbnail images below.
