Tonight's Colour Creations blog hop is focussing on Calypso Coral. This colour features heavily in the You're A Peach Designer Series Paper, that I had yet to cut into, so that decided for me what the basis of my project would be!
The only stamping on my card is the sentiment. I fussy cut a couple of floral clusters, and a spray, from one of the DSP sheets, and arranged them around the focal die cut piece that holds the sentiment.
I added Calypso Coral sequins to some of the flower centres:
Using my Dark Calypso Coral Stampin' Blends marker, I coloured some Whisper White Crinkled Seam Binding. I laid one length of ribbon flat on my card front, vertically, between the two patterned papers. I used two shorter lengths to make a double bow.
Next up on tonight's blog hop is Diane Furniss. It's her birthday today, so make sure you wish her a happy one! You can get to her blog by clicking on the button below.
If the "next" button doesn't work, or if you'd like to see a comprehensive list of everyone participating in tonight's blog hop, head over to Catherine Proctor's blog. Cathy does a fantastic job of co-ordinating our Colour Creations shares each week.
I have listed below all the products used to make my card. If you live in Australia, and would like to shop with me for your Stampin' Up! supplies, you can get to my online store by clicking on any of the thumbnail images below.
Please come back to visit again tomorrow ... I have another Calypso Coral card to share with you. :)
Christine I really love your "almost no stamping" card - that DSP is so gorgeous and you're really showcased it beautifully on this card. Love that stitched label and your home made Calypso Coral ribbon too!

ReplyDeleteA gorgeous card, Christine and I love that you coloured your ribbon to coordinate. The extra fussy cut flowers from the DSP are lovely around your sentiment.
ReplyDeleteSuch a pretty card love. The fussy cut flower bundles soften the sentiment panel beautifully. Great idea to colour the seam binding when a matching colour doesnt exist
ReplyDeleteThis is such a pretty card, Christine. And a perfect sentiment especially with the cold, wet conditions we’ve been having this Winter. Love the addition of the sequins.
ReplyDeleteI love the way you've created the wreath around the sentiment, so pretty.
