Tonight I am taking part in a weekly Colour Creations blog hop, with some Stampin' Up! friends. This week the colour we are focussing on, in our creations, is Blushing Bride.
I have made a baby card, with lots of texture and sweet details ... and, surprisingly, I have used no ribbon or gems!
I started off with a Crumb Cake card base, and added a layer of Basic White card that I'd embossed using the Tasteful Textile 3D embossing folder. You can see that embossed background through the "windows" created by the Picture This Die, used on the Blushing Bride card layer. After cutting the rectangular apertures with the Picture This Die, I embossed the Blushing Bride layer with one of the Dotty Hearts embossing folders. It is a narrow folder, so I had to run it through my Stampin' Cut & Emboss machine twice, to emboss the full piece of card.
The little bird, on the bib, was cut using a Beautiful Trees Die (and paper snips to trim the tail).
The sentiment on my card is from the Many Messages stamp. I white heat-embossed it on Crumb Cake card, then cut it out using the Messages Die (also used to cut the two little stars either side of the teddy, below). I think the tiny pegs are adorable, so I used them to "hold up" the sentiment. They're die-cut from Blushing Bride card.
Just because I can't get enough of the cute elements from the All For Baby bundle, I added a Blushing Bride die-cut onesie to the inside of the card:
