STAMPIN' UP! COUNT ON ME FRIENDSHIP CARD

 Get ready for some koala cuteness!  As much as I love to make cards with flowers or butterflies on them, we all like a bit of variety, don't we?   I hope this card puts a smile on your face, as it did mine!

The delightful little koalas, and the sentiment, are from the Count On Me stamp set.  They're stamped in Basic Gray ink, on Basic White card.  I used a Stitched So Sweetly Die to cut out the scalloped rectangle, and a Hydrangea Die for the sentiment.  I used Smoky Slate and Polished Pink Stampin' Blends markers to colour the koalas.  The hearts (a little stamp from the All For Baby set) are stamped in Polished Pink ink.  The gorgeous embossed background was created by using a Dotty Hearts Embossing Folder, and Polished Pink card.

Don't you think the background leaves (stamped in Smoky Slate ink, on Smoky Slate card) look like eucalyptus leaves?  Love the suggestion of gum leaves as a backdrop for my koalas.  The leafy stamp is from the Forever Fern stamp set.

A Polished Pink Open Weave Ribbon bow, and some Metallic Pearls, finish off my card.
