STAMPIN' UP! HEART OF CHRISTMAS BLOG HOP - WEEK 2

Monday nights are, until mid-December, going to be Heart of Christmas blog hop nights.  A number of my friends and I hope to inspire you to use Stampin' Up! products on your handmade Christmas cards and projects.

I am just loving the Tidings of Christmas Designer Series Paper, in the Annual Catalogue.  I think Soft Succulent and Evening Evergreen, two of Stampin' Up!'s 2021-2023 In Colors, are beautiful for Christmas.  For tonight's card, I've paired the papers with Perfectly Plaid, my only Christmas stamp set.  This situation will be rectified in the coming days, as I get to play with some new Christmas products from the upcoming Mini Catalogue!

I have used three different patterned papers from the Tidings of Christmas DSP pack.  The striped paper is matted on Evening Evergreen card.  I added the herringbone-patterned Evening Evergreen piece, and Soft Succulent foliage piece, to the mid-section of the striped paper panel.

On Basic White card, I stamped two trees in Evening Evergreen ink, and one in Soft Succulent ink.  The tree trunks are stamped in Sahara Sand ink, and all three trees have been punched out using the Pine Tree Punch.

I stamped the sentiment in Evening Evergeen ink on a piece of Sahara Sand card, and cut it out using a Tasteful Labels Die.  I stamped tiny pinecones in Sahara Sand ink on the sentiment label (second-generation, after stamping off onto scrap paper first).  The edges of the label have been sponged with Sahara Sand ink, and a few sparkly In Color Jewels have been added.

Above the Evening Evergreen ribbon, I have added a border to complement the shape of the tree tops.  It's in Soft Succulent card, cut using a Basic Borders Die.

The next person on this week's blog hop is my lovely and talented friend, Rachel Woollard.  You can get to her blog by clicking on the graphic below.

If at any time you find a broken link please head to the blog of this week’s host of the Heart of Christmas Blog Hop, Tina Gillespie, and she will have a list of all who are participating.

Listed below are all the products I used to make my card.  If you live in Australia, and would like to shop with me for your Stampin' Up! supplies, you can get to my online store by clicking on any of the thumbnail images below.
