STAMPIN' UP! SENDING SMILES CARD IN AZURE AFTERNOON

I have recently been having a play with Azure Afternoon, a colour new to Stampin' Up!'s range.  The first card I made didn't make the cut for this week's Colour Creations blog hop.  Even though I don't particularly like it, I thought I would share it with you!

I think this is the part of the card that bothers me ... the busy patterned paper, that detracts a bit from the sentiment.  I die-cut the "Sending" from Daffodil Delight and Basic White card, and white heat-embossed the rest of the sentiment on a strip of Azure Afternoon card cropped with a Sending Die.

The ribbon is from the Sheer Ribbon Combo Pack.

I stamped the flowers in Azure Afternoon and Daffodil Delight ink, on Basic White card.  The foliage was stamped in Parakeet Party ink on Basic White.

I embossed the Basic White card panel with the Painted Texture 3D embossing folder.  The finishing touch to my card is some Basic Rhinestones, coloured with the Dark Azure Afternoon Stampin' Blends marker.

Listed below are all the products I used to make this card.  If you live in Australia, and would like to shop with me for your Stampin' Up! supplies, you can get to my online store by clicking on any of the thumbnail images below.
