Welcome to the second day of my "Bright & Beautiful Paper Strip Card" series! As explained yesterday, I created four backgrounds, from strips of patterned papers adhered to Basic White card panels, and used different dies to cut them out for my card designs. Here are the backgrounds I created:
Today's card was created from the background in the bottom left of the picture. I cropped it using the largest Countryside Corners Die. The piece was then matted on some Berry Burst DSP also from the Bright & Beautiful pack. After sponging the edges of the Berry Burst paper, I matted it onto a layer of Basic White card, and then onto a Thick Basic White card base.
For the sentiment, I had a bit of fun with the Wanted to Say Dies, and cut the "Happy Birthday" in two colours - Azure Afternoon and Berry Burst. Both words are matted on Basic White.
The Lemon Lime Twist ribbon is from the Ribbon Duo Combo Pack.
Listed below are all the products I used to make this card. If you live in Australia, and would like to shop with me for your Stampin' Up! supplies, you can get to my online store by clicking on any of the thumbnail images below.
This afternoon I will share the fourth, and final, card in my paper strip series. I hope you'll come back, for more ideas of how to use this fun paper, and co-ordinating stamps and accessories.
