The new Stampin' Up! colour we're featuring this week is Lemon Lolly, a beautiful soft and clean yellow. I think it will be a nice colour to use on baby cards ... but the card I have made first is a floral one, as I discovered Lemon Lolly goes beautifully with greens.
Adhesive-Backed Solid Gems adorn the white space above the sentiment.
I cut a piece of Basic White card using a Countryside Corners die, and stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black ink the large leafy spray from Petal Park. I used the "fill in" stamps inked in Parakeet Party and Granny Apple Green inks. The flowers and leaves stamped separately (in Memento Tuxedo Black) were overstamped in Lemon Lolly and Parakeet Party inks, then punched out using the co-ordinating Petal Park Builder Punch.
I die-cut some additional flowers from Lemon Lolly card, and added Parakeet Party pearls to the centres of the two solid flowers. The three flowers in the central cluster have Lemon Lolly Adhesive-Backed Solid Gems as their centres.
Along the bottom edge of the die-cut panel, I added a dainty Lemon Lolly border, cut using a Basic Borders Die, that I trimmed with Paper Snips.
In this close-up pic, you can better see that I stamped, in Lemon Lolly ink, flowers all over the Lemon Lolly card panel.
