I've had a "last play" with a few products that are about to retire from Stampin' Up!'s range in a couple of days. The Shimmer Detailed Laser Cut Paper is a product I've sorely neglected. I love the wispy flowers from one of the panels of that paper, so snipped them out with my paper snips, and coloured them in with my Stampin' Blends. For the Petal Pink background panel, I have used the retiring Eyelet Lace embossing folder. My trusty Basic Adhesive Sequins didn't make it into the new catalogue, either, so they're helping to highlight the Mint Macaron on this card. The stamped sentiment is from the retiring Beautiful Bouquet stamp set.
I find Stampin' Up!'s Petal Pink Stampin' Pad to contain a more orange-toned ink than the colour of the cardstock, so didn't want to sponge around the Petal Pink card pieces. Instead I used my Light Petal Pink Stampin' Write marker, to trace around the embossed card panel, and the stitched label background.
My sentiment label is a bit custom-made! I die cut a hexagonal label from the new Tasteful Labels die, but it was a little deep for the sentiment I'd chosen to use. So, I then laid a Stitched Rectangle Die over the label die, and cropped it, top and bottom.
The stitched sentiment labels (both Very Vanilla and Petal Pink) are from Tasteful Labels Dies, being released on 3rd June. All other products used to make this card are listed below. You can buy them from my online store, which is easily accessed by clicking on any of the thumbnail images below. I'd love for you to shop with me for your Stampin' Up! products, if you live in Australia and if you don't already have a Stampin' Up! demonstrator.
