STAMPIN' UP! SEASIDE NOTIONS SEAWEED BIRTHDAY CARD

I have been playing with the GORGEOUS new Whale of A Time Designer Series Paper, and my Seaside Notions stamp set that carried over from our previous Stampin' Up! catalogue.  The colours and designs in the paper pack are so beautiful.  I made seven cards in one day, using these products.  That's quite a feat, for a crafter who can easily spend a couple of hours on one card!

I'm going to start out by sharing with you my favourite of all the cards I made.  I worked with this beautiful colour combination:

I white-embossed the seahorse onto Watercolor Paper, then used Water Painters and reinkers to colour the image and the background.  A light Balmy Blue wash in the background was applied first, then the seahorse was coloured in using Granny Apple Green and Pretty Peacock inks.
