STAMPIN' UP! BIRDS & BRANCHES - DAY 1

One of my hands-down favourite bundles of product in the new Stampin' Up! catalogue is Birds & Branches, made up of a stamp set and co-ordinating dies.  Here's what the stamps, and die cut pieces, look like:

So cute!  For the next week, I am going to share cards I have made with this bundle.

Day 1 kicks off with a pastel-coloured birthday card.  I inked up the nest stamp with Crumb Cake ink, then added Soft Suede ink, with a sponge dauber, to the stamp before stamping my impression on Whisper White card.  The eggs were stamped in Pool Party and Blushing Bride ink.  I coloured the die-cut bird, and foliage around the circular frame, using Stampin' Blends markers ... Pool Party and Crumb Cake for the bird, and Soft Sea Foam and Purple Posy for the foliage.  I also used my Dark Purple Posy Stampin' Blends marker to colour some white Crinkled Seam Binding.   The tiny Purple Posy flowers were punched with the new Confetti Flowers Border Punch, and the sentiment label was cut using Ornate Frames dies.

Both the white die-cut panel, and the circle of Whisper White card placed behind the bird, nest and eggs, are embossed using the Subtle 3D embossing folder.

Listed below are all the Stampin' Up! products I used to make this card.  They are available to purchase now from my online store, which can be accessed by clicking on any of the thumbnail images below.  If you live in Australia, and don't already have a Stampin' Up! demonstrator, I would love for you to shop with me.
