These are the Stampin' Up! colours I chose to use:
There are Crumb Cake splotches all over the Early Espresso background paper on this card, but I covered them up with the Mossy Meadow panel! To create the main image panel, I die cut two Stitched Rectangles from Whisper White card. On the larger one, I stamped in Crumb Cake ink a row of trees, and a couple of rows of offset signs saying Thinking of You. (This stamp was the main reason I bought the Rustic Retreat stamp set; I love it!) I sponged the edges with Crumb Cake ink. On the smaller rectangle, I used Early Espresso ink to stamp the cabin and trees, then I coloured the image with my Stampin' Blends markers.
The sentiment is stamped in Early Espresso ink on a Crumb Cake Stitched Rectangle. I then embossed that piece with the Pinewood Planks 3D embossing folder. I also ran the background panel (the patterned papers attached to a mat of Early Espresso card) through my die-cutting and embossing machine, in the Pinewood Planks 3D embossing folder. Here's a close-up of the texture (in this pic you can see a bit of Crumb Cake in the background paper, too):
The finishing touches on my card are the new Early Espresso Faux Suede trim (I'm so pleased to have a dark brown ribbon option, especially for masculine cards), and Braided Linen Trim knotted around it. I frayed the ends of the braided trim with my scissors. Either side of the sentiment I've placed Gilded Gems. I'm really happy with how this card turned out, and hope you feel inspired to create some masculine cards.
