STAMPIN' UP! PRIZED PEONY 50th BIRTHDAY CARD

The Peony Garden Suite of products was top of my list to order, when the new Stampin' Up! catalogue came out recently.  It is just so beautiful.  The papers and accessories in the suite are in Petal Pink, Gray Granite and white ... so these are the colours I focussed on when making a 50th birthday card recently for a pink-loving friend.

I stamped the large peony in Gray Granite ink on Whisper White card.  Using Petal Pink and Gray Granite Stampin' Blends markers, I coloured in the image, then cut it out using the Peony Dies.  I added some clear Wink of Stella to the bloom and bud.  The Square Vellum Doilies add a sweet, subtle, touch to a card.  I adhered the die-cut peony to a vellum doily that had been matted on a Petal Pink scalloped square.

The sentiment is stamped in Gray Granite ink on a piece of the Peony Garden Designer Series Paper.  I used this same paper for the background, but embossed it using the Dainty Diamonds embossing folder.  The Petal Pink gems are the new Elegant Faceted Gems.  So pretty!

Listed below are all the Stampin' Up! products I used to make this card.  I've only just realised that the Petal Pink Metallic-Edged ribbon I used has retired, so that's not available to buy, but all other items are!  If you would like to buy them for yourself, you can get to my online store by clicking on any of the thumbnail images below.  I would love for you to shop with me, if you live in Australia and don't already have a Stampin' Up! demonstrator.
