STAMPIN' UP! HAND-PENNED PETALS ANNIVERSARY CARD IN DAFFODIL DELIGHT

 

This week's Colour Creations blog hop is all about Daffodil Delight.  It's not a colour I use a lot in my crafting, but I have used it to make a card for my yellow-loving friend and her husband, who have been an integral part of my life for over 40 years.  We went to high school together, and they have recently celebrated a milestone wedding anniversary.

I stamped the floral spray in Versamark ink on Crumb Cake card, added white embossing powder, and heat-embossed it.  I coloured the flowers using Daffodil Delight Stampin' Blends, and the leaves with Crumb Cake Stampin' Blends.  Using the same floral paper as I've matted the flowers on, I die-cut a few flowers using Penned Flowers Dies.  I also cut some leaves from Crumb Cake card, and added them to the floral spray.

The lovely paper in the background is from the Design A Daydream DSP pack.  I cut "Sending" from Crumb Cake card, using a Sending Die.  The other part of the sentiment, from Hand Penned Petals, was white heat-embossed on Daffodil Delight card, and cut out using a Hydrangea Die.
