STAMPIN' UP! TRUE LOVE THANK YOU NOTECARD

After making a couple of cards that I shared (a few days ago), showing how I used some of the True Love Designer Series Paper coloured with Watercolor Pencils and a Blender Pen, I was left with a small piece of coloured paper.  It is my usual habit to just discard "leftovers", but I decided to put this one to use.

I like to have on hand a stash of small "thank you" cards, that I use mainly when someone buys some retired Stampin' Up! product from me.  For this purpose, I've held on to some retired Scalloped Notecards & Envelopes.  I have used an Old Olive notecard with the paper I'd coloured in Melon Mambo, Rich Razzleberry and Old Olive.

I do love a scalloped edge, and if stitched detail is involved, all the better!  Using Stitched So Sweetly dies, I cropped the coloured DSP, then cut a slightly larger mat from Rich Razzleberry card.  I used a smaller die from the set to cut out the sentiment, which is from A Touch Of Ink - a stamp set that can be earnt for FREE during Sale-A-Bration (until the end of February), with a $180 spend.

In Old Olive ink, I stamped some leaves from To A Wild Rose on the card front, and the left-hand bottom corner of the envelope:

Listed below are the current Stampin' Up! products I used on this project.  As mentioned, the Scalloped Notecards & Envelopes are retired.  The A Touch of Ink stamp set may not be purchased - it is able only to be earnt for free with a qualifying purchase.  If you live in Australia, and would like to shop with me for your Stampin' Up! supplies, you can get to my online store by clicking on any of the thumbnail images below.
