STAMPIN' UP! LAST A LIFETIME WEDDING CARD

While I had out the Lasting Elegance Dies for yesterday's card, I made a second card with different dies in the set, and with the co-ordinating Last A Lifetime stamp set.

The colour scheme of my card, now that I look at it, is a bit 1980s!  Mind you, some people may still have red roses as their wedding flowers, so I'm going with it. 😀

The sentiment fit beautifully in one of the Beautiful Boughs Dies.  I stamped the sentiment in Basic Gray ink, on Very Vanilla card, and matted it on a banner of Smoky Slate paper from the Neutrals 6"x6" Designer Series Paper pack that will be in our next Annual Catalogue, in June.  The Real Red paper is also from a pack we Stampin' Up! demonstrators were able to order months in advance of its June 2021 release.  You can get hold of all of the colour collections in this paper early, if you sign up as demonstrator before the end of February (you get FIVE packs of paper for FREE, when joining during Sale-A-Bration).

The ribbon used to create the bow is Silver Metallic Edge Ribbon, that was white, and that I coloured with my Dark Smoky Slate Stampin' Blends marker.

The floral arrangements were stamped in Basic Gray ink, on Very Vanilla card.  I then coloured the roses with Real Red Stampin' Blends markers, and the leaves and berries with Smoky Slate Stampin' Blends.  You can see in the photo below that I then added some shimmer, with a Wink of Stella glitter brush pen.

I had stamped, coloured, and die cut some tiny roses that didn't end up making it onto the front of the card, so I added them to the inside:

  1. Christine, what a fabulous wedding card and your little bow is perfection. I am loving your use of reds/greys. Such a sophisticated color combo. Of course, the little touches of Wink of Stella add the perfect bit of shimmer and shine.
