I am excited to bring you, over the next several days, a "series" of cards that evolved from colouring in some floral images from the new black and white True Love Designer Series Paper. I've used Oh So Ombre Designer Series Papers as the backgrounds, to show off this beautiful paper that you can earn for free with a $90 purchase, until 28th February. Here are the four colours in the free paper pack:
As the title of my blog post states, today's card uses the Blackberry Bliss paper, in both designs. After adhering the background papers to a Blackberry Bliss card panel, I embossed the entire piece with my Subtle 3D embossing folder. The sentiment, stamped in Blackberry Bliss ink on Whisper White card, is from another Sale-A-Bration freebie, the Heal Your Heart stamp set. I love the fonts and sentiments in this set.
The floral focal piece is a die-cut circle of True Love Designer Series Paper, that I coloured with Stampin' Blends. The flowers and leaves are Blackberry Bliss and Granny Apple Green, the flower centres So Saffron, and I've used the Light Pool Party Stampin' Blends marker to draw around the outline of the image.
I finished my card with some new Blackberry Bliss striped ribbon, and some tiny butterflies cut from the lighter section of the Oh So Ombre paper.
