STAMPIN' UP! ENJOY THE MOMENT "THINKING OF YOU" CARD

I have had the Enjoy the Moment stamp set for a few months, having received it as part of a Stampin' Up! event.  At the time, I decided it was possibly the strangest stamp set we've ever had ... it has taken me a while to warm up to using it!  Well, here's what I came up with.

On a piece of Well Suited Designer Series paper (the grid design), I stamped images in Basic Gray and Smoky Slate ink (some "stamped off" on scrap paper, to give a lighter impression on the grid paper).  A Stitched With Whimsy Die gives some nice border interest.  I added Cherry Cobbler ink to what I believe are the Poppy Seed pods, using a sponge dauber, but preferred most of the line images to remain uncoloured.

The sentiment is from A Touch of Ink (one of the beautiful stamp sets you can earn for FREE during Sale-A-Bration, which runs until the end of February).  I stamped it in Cherry Cobbler ink, on a scrap of Whisper White card, that I then cut with a Tasteful Labels Die.  I added a tiny strip of Cherry Cobbler card to the left-hand edge of the flagged die cut.   I used my Dark Cherry Cobbler Stampin' Blends marker to colour some white twine, for my bow.

STAMPIN' UP! LAST A LIFETIME WEDDING CARD

While I had out the Lasting Elegance Dies for yesterday's card, I made a second card with different dies in the set, and with the co-ordinating Last A Lifetime stamp set.

The colour scheme of my card, now that I look at it, is a bit 1980s!  Mind you, some people may still have red roses as their wedding flowers, so I'm going with it. 😀

The sentiment fit beautifully in one of the Beautiful Boughs Dies.  I stamped the sentiment in Basic Gray ink, on Very Vanilla card, and matted it on a banner of Smoky Slate paper from the Neutrals 6"x6" Designer Series Paper pack that will be in our next Annual Catalogue, in June.  The Real Red paper is also from a pack we Stampin' Up! demonstrators were able to order months in advance of its June 2021 release.  You can get hold of all of the colour collections in this paper early, if you sign up as demonstrator before the end of February (you get FIVE packs of paper for FREE, when joining during Sale-A-Bration).

The ribbon used to create the bow is Silver Metallic Edge Ribbon, that was white, and that I coloured with my Dark Smoky Slate Stampin' Blends marker.

The floral arrangements were stamped in Basic Gray ink, on Very Vanilla card.  I then coloured the roses with Real Red Stampin' Blends markers, and the leaves and berries with Smoky Slate Stampin' Blends.  You can see in the photo below that I then added some shimmer, with a Wink of Stella glitter brush pen.

I had stamped, coloured, and die cut some tiny roses that didn't end up making it onto the front of the card, so I added them to the inside:

STAMPIN' UP! WEDDING CARD - LASTING ELEGANCE

I need to build up my stash of wedding cards.  The first card I made, since making this resolve, is this creation in Very Vanilla, Pool Party, and Champagne Foil.  I've used the beautiful Lasting Elegance Dies, and a sentiment from So Sentimental.  I have not done a great job photographing the foil, but the true colour is closest to that you see on the bottom half of the card.

You can see the beautiful metallic shine, at this angle.  The hearts, cut from Pool Party card and Champagne Foil, are also from the Lasting Elegance dies.  I've added Champagne Rhinestones to a few of the flower centres.  I think the Pool Party Sheer Ribbon is a lovely choice for an elegant card.  The sentiment label was cut using a Stitched So Sweetly Die.

Inside the card, I used a smaller corner die from the Lasting Elegance Dies, to add some pretty detail:

I'll be back tomorrow with another wedding card, created with the Last A Lifetime stamp set, and Lasting Elegance dies.
