STAMPIN' UP! FRAMES & FLOWERS THINKING OF YOU CARD

Today's card is simple, and sweet.  Lovely soft colours and papers, along with a great big sentiment,  provide all the details.

I adhered a die-cut frame, from Frames & Flowers, to a piece of Basic White card.  In the opening, I stamped the sentiment, from Softly Said, in Soft Sea Foam ink.

Using Sentimental Park Dies, I cut some flowers from DSP in the Frames & Flowers pack.  I sponged the edges with Petal Pink ink, and added Petal Pink Foiled Gems to the centres.

The focal part of my card is matted on a Petal Pink card layer.  Before adhering it to the Thick Basic White card base, I added a vertical strip of the same paper I'd used for the flowers, sponged around the edges with Petal Pink ink.

Using the Dark Soft Sea Foam Stampin' Blends Marker, I coloured some White 1/4" Diagonal Trim.  I used it to create my bow, which is attached with Mini Glue Dots.  Stampin' Blends (alcohol-based) Markers are great for custom-colouring ribbon and other embellishments; it's one of my favourite techniques for colour matching.
