STAMPIN' UP! FRAMES & FLOWERS BIRTHDAY CARD

Today I have another card in my Frames & Flowers series, showing off the beauty of Stampin' Up!'s Frames & Flowers Specialty Designer Series Paper pack.

The background paper, sponged around the edges with Lost Lagoon ink, is mounted on a slightly larger panel of Lost Lagoon card.  Before attaching this piece to the Thick Basic White card base, I added a horizontal strip of Petal Pink patterned paper to the bottom of the card front.

Here's a closer look at the cluster of focal details.  I cut two circles using Spotlight on Nature Dies, using Basic White and Petal Pink card.  The larger circle has been sponged around the edges with Petal Pink ink.  Using a Fun Patterns embossing folder, I partially embossed the Basic White circle.  I then put the piece back in the embossing folder, after flipping it around, and partially embossed the opposite side.  This left an unembossed strip in the middle, for me to stamp the sentiment on.  I used Petal Pink ink, and the Simply Said stamp set, to do this.

I cut a couple of flowers from the floral Petal Pink DSP, using Sentimental Park Dies.  The edges of the flowers are sponged with Petal Pink ink.  To create the flower centres, I used a Natural Tones Deep Stampin' Blends Marker to dab colour onto white Iridescent Adhesive-Backed Discs.  I wanted a tortoiseshell effect.  The small leaves, and the floral spray on the left-hand side of the card, are die-cut pieces from the Frames & Flowers pack.  I sponged the edges of the small leaves with Lost Lagoon ink.

The bow, made with Petal Pink 1/4" Diagonal Trim, was adhered with Mini Glue Dots.

Listed below are all the products I used to make this card.  If you live in Australia, and would like to shop with me for your Stampin' Up! supplies, you can get to my online store by clicking on any of the thumbnail images at the bottom of this post.
