STAMPIN' UP! LAYERS OF BEAUTY SYMPATHY CARD IN BLUES

I've teamed the Layers of Beauty bundle with beautiful papers from the Countryside Inn Designer Series Paper pack, for today's card.  Before layering the two patterned papers on a panel of Misty Moonlight card, I sponged the edges with Misty Moonlight ink.

The large floral image was stamped in Night of Navy ink on Basic White card, and I used Blending Brushes to apply ink through the masks.

For the flowers, I started off with Balmy Blue ink, then used Misty Moonlight ink for the second and third layers.  The leaves were coloured using Night Of Navy ink, blended through the masks.  I used a white paint pen (not SU!) to add dotty/dashed detail to the leaves, to lighten them up a little.

When I had finished applying ink through the masks, I had some residual ink on my Blending Brush.  I lightly blended it over the top of my die-cut image, to tone down the stark white background.

A few gold Blooming Pearls were added to my card front, to complement the glitter in the ribbon below.

Across the join of the two patterned papers, I laid some Night of Navy & Gold Glittered Ribbon. Once this was in place, I glued down the main floral die-cut piece.  The bow was made using the same ribbon, and was adhered with Mini Glue Dots.

The sentiment was created with the Unbounded Love bundle - great sentiments, and label dies.  I white heat-embossed the sentiment on Misty Moonlight card before die-cutting it.  The finishing touch was a couple of Rainbow Adhesive-Backed Dots.

Listed below are all the products I used to make my card.  If you live in Australia, and would like to shop with me for your Stampin' Up! supplies, you can get to my online store by clicking on any of the thumbnail images below.  NB:  The Wow! Embossing Powders haven't quite made it to Stampin' Up!'s online stores in Australia yet, but we're hoping they are not far away.
